ABOUT LIOR

 

Lior Ofir is a Former Israeli Navy SEAL and a world champion martial artist with years of experience in leadership consulting and business advising. Currently, he holds a key role as the COO of the Jewish Federation and serves on the AFINS National Leadership Council, dedicated to leading the Jewish community.

Lior Ofir was born in Ramat Gan, Israel in 1985. He was drafted into the Israel Defense Forces in 2003 where he joined the elite Naval Commando Unit ("Shyetet 13"). His roles included sniper, a medic and hand-to-hand Krav Maga combat instructor. Lior served for almost five years. As a reserve duty serviceman – he is one of the team members in charge of selecting the future students in the trials.

In 2008, Lior was accepted to the Interdisciplinary Centre (IDC) in Herzliya, where he graduated with a Law (L.L.B) and Business (B.A) degrees while working for Israel’s Ministry of Defense for four years.

In 2016-2018 alone, he won 6 different world championship titles in the sport. Lior also understands and takes seriously his role as an unofficial ambassador for Israel within the world of leadership.

As a Brazilian Jiu Jitsu World Champion, Lior is also a renowned Motivational and Leadership Speaker, known for his talk "GOOD TO GOLD." He empowers entrepreneurs, younger generations with essential values, tools to overcome challenges, and the pursuit of excellence.

Committed to giving back to the community, Lior has shared his empowerment principles at numerous events for both Jewish and non-Jewish organizations. His engaging speaking style resonates particularly with youth, women, and vulnerable communities, transforming hundreds through his workshops. Lior excels in connecting with young people on personal development, fostering a strong identity, building a solid work ethic, and cultivating the mindset needed to become the best version of oneself.
